Asialee has been an Esthetician at the Chrysalis since 2014. She has been working with skin since 2003 and started her career as an assistant for a cosmetic surgeon in Beverly Hills, which inspired her to attend the Gary Manuel Aveda Institute in Seattle in 2007. She was Lead Esthetician and Educator for Elizabeth Arden Red Door Spas for five years. She now lives in Canada and commutes two days a week to provide Skin care and waxing at the Chrysalis. She is passionate about all types of waxing, especially Brazilians, and skin care education.
Daysha graduated from The Euro Institute of Skin Care in 2006 where she was trained to treat the skin from the inside out. She has been with the Chrysalis since 2009, and Lead Esthetician since 2012. Her continuing education includes 3 Eminence regional trainings, Intraceuticals oxygen facial certification, 2 advanced knowledge Skin Ceuticals trainings.
Erin Licensed Esthetician since 2011, with several years of advanced training in Make-up Artistry and Ayurvedic principles for healthy skin. Erin enjoys offering Spa guests the ultimate pampering and relaxation with special attention to individual skin care needs. She specializes in Organic facials and enhancing beauty with natural mineral make-up.
Jessica is one of the first in Washington State to become a licensed Master Esthetician. She has over 7 years of experience and 14 professional certifications as both an Esthetician and Manicurist. She remains passionate about continued education and committed to improving her techniques to better serve her clients. When she is not in the spa you can find her spending time with her beautiful daughter, loving husband and a cat named Darth Vader.
Neallie's passion for skin care developed into a career when she completed Esthetics school in 2012. Shortly thereafter she furthered her education and obtained her Master Esthetician license and joined the Chrysalis Spa team. Neallie's skill and attention to detail shine through every treatment she performs, establishing trust with personal attention to her clients' needs and requests, helping them to achieve their ultimate skin care goals.
Stefani received her Esthetics license in 2004 and has been with The Chrysalis since 2006. She is passionate about skin care and educating her clients. She enjoys the healing and relaxing aspects of treating each individual.
Hannah Gurolla, a native to Bellingham and has been a cosmetologist since she graduated from Toni and Guy Beauty Academy in 2001. Her goal in this profession is to make people feel beautiful and comfortable in their own skin. She has been doing nails at the Chrysalis since 2014 and loves her clients!
Chelsie Assink, has been in the beauty industry since 2010 when she joined Paul Mitchell hair academy. She loves everything about hair, nails, makeup. She also loves making people feel good about themselves! She joined the Chrysalis nail team summer of 2013 and has had the pleasure of getting to know a lot of great people who come to her for services on a regular basis. She would like to tell everyone to come explore our cozy corner! She also enjoys spending time with her husband and new baby girl named Paisley.

Amy Whether it's a deep tissue massage, a hot stone or helping to facilitate relaxation, Amy feels lucky to have been practicing massage for over 20 years. Best. Job. Ever.
Annie has been practicing Massage Therapy since 2003, and teaching Massage Theory and Practical at the Northwest Academy for the Healing Arts since 2014. Her individualized massage treatment sessions are balanced through her unique specialties of Neuromuscular Therapy, Deep Tissue Massage, Ashiatsu Oriental Bar Therapy and Oncology massage. Annie is passionate about educating her clients and empowering them to take control of their own health and well-being. She has a mindful, nurturing touch and a relaxed, professional presence that allows her to work well with a variety of clients.
Cassie is a Bellingham native. She graduated from the Massage Therapy program at Whatcom Community College in 2009, and loves being a massage therapist! When she is not working at the Chrysalis she is teaching group fitness classes, hiking with her dogs, running or just out enjoying the beautiful PNW. She really enjoys doing sports massage.
Chelsea S. In practice since 2007, Chelsea has combined injury treatment education with a deeply relaxing, pain free approach to whole body balancing. She applies traditional Chinese, Thai-yoga and Swedish techniques to customize each person's individual needs.
Gabriel gives massages that he would enjoy receiving. He often focuses on releasing the shoulders to relax the neck and working on the gluts and quads to release the low back. The facilitation of your awareness of those connections is paramount to enjoying the long-term benefits of massage. He looks forward to working with you!
JackieWhile all massage modalities interest her, she has come to especially appreciate the more focused and detail oriented aspect of deep tissue work. Seeing a client come in with pain and mobility restriction leave with a smile on their face from relief is both gratifying and humbling. She especially likes to combine a variety of Swedish techniques and stretching with the focus work to add that nice relaxing element that most people are looking for.
Jeff has been practicing massage and bodywork since 2001. As a well seasoned therapist, he utilizes both intelligence and intuition to quickly discover and help transform pain and dysfunction. An absolute fan of a good old fashioned massage, he also specializes in Craniosacral Therapy which helps to generate deep, restorative balance. You will feel better after a session with Jeff.
Jessica W. graduated from the Massage Program here in Bellingham. She has been a Licensed Massage Practitioner since 2013. She enjoys doing injury/treatment work, and neuromuscular release techniques along with trigger point therapy.
Jim attended massage school in New Mexico and has been licensed and practicing since 1996. With an eclectic focus utilizing relaxation and stress reduction techniques, Swedish and deep tissue, Jim attempts to ensure each client achieves a true rejuvenation of mind and body.
Julie While other therapists base their work mostly on technique, Julie's is mostly conceptual. Having completed 900 hours in an advanced massage program she feels blessed to have received quality training from excellent instructors. Her different specializations and her work is very broad but one modality is no more important than the other. They all have benefits to fit a specific situation. Her specialty is Ashiatsu Deepfeet Therapy working with chronic pain and scar tissue.
Julia has been practicing massage since 2003. She has been a practitioner at The Chrysalis for 10 years. Julia enjoys performing deep tissue massage as well as myofascial release and cranial sacral work. When she is not working she loves being outside with her three children and husband, exploring the beauty of the Pacific Northwest.
Ashley became certified as a Massage Practitioner from the National Institute of Massage Therapy in Anchorage, AK January 2004. She started her career at a Chiropractic office for several years where she developed her Deep Tissue and Treatment therapy skills. She still enjoys Deep Tissue work and has taken many continued education courses to fine tune those skills, while greatly appreciating the benefits of relaxation massage as well. She is furthering her education into Nutrition to help her clients' overall wellness grow from the inside out.
Kelly graduated from massage school in 2010. She enjoys providing both relaxation and therapeutic massage. She is able to preform most all treatments on the menu, including Ashiatsu and Lomi Lomi. She has massaged in a variety of environments and is glad to call The Chrysalis her home.
Margo After a life-long love of giving and receiving massage, Margo attended Seattle Massage School and graduated in 1996. She is very proficient in all modalities but her favorite treatment to give at the Chrysalis is the Tropical Oasis Massage and scalp treatment. She is also famous for bringing coffee and thoughtful gifts to her coworkers at the Spa.
Matia graduated from the Port Townsend School of Massage in 2003. She earned an interdisciplinary BA from Fairhaven College, entitled Wellness, and is currently finishing a MA in Medical Anthropology from WWU. She is certified through the Soma Institute of Neuromuscular Integration as a Sommage practitioner. This modality works with clients' fascia to heal trauma and align posture. Matia also completed a Somatics and Trauma Advanced Course training for politicized healers to address both individual and social trauma. This was taught through Generative Somatics: Somatic Transformation and Social Justice. Lomilomi, deep tissue, Swedish, Trager, and Craniosacral, in addition to embodied meditation and dance also influence her massage practice. Matia started working as a licensed massage practitioner at the Chrysalis in 2012. She loves helping individuals and our greater community achieve well-being.
Patrick's focus as a massage practitioner for over 5 years is to, in all treatments, provide an honoring, intentional and detail orientated massage. Whether a Swedish or Deep Tissue massage - leaving you feeling both relieved and relaxed is of utmost importance. A perfect fit for those looking for dynamic relaxation!
Sarah M began her practice in 2001 by training in Thai Massage. She has since worked in medical and spa settings, enriching and refining her skill set within each atmosphere. She currently enjoys using Myofascial release, Reflexology, and deep tissue work to help clients achieve their goals.
Steven's priority as a therapist is to listen deeply to his clients' needs, goals and bodies. He uses Swedish, deep tissue and connective tissue work as needed to facilitate balance across the body and mind.
Abhi Murti graduated from South Pacific Academy of Beauty, Fiji Islands, in 2002, and was awarded DUX of the year by Association of beauty Therapy Australia. She worked for several resort spas as a Massage and Beauty Therapist in Fiji Islands. Her specialties include Aromatherapy, Hot Stone, Swedish and Deep Tissue. She moved to Bellingham in 2013 for her daughter's education and attended Northwest Academy of Healing Arts' Massage program to obtain her Washington State Massage license. She feels honored to work for the Chrysalis, as the ambiance reminds her of her island home, and she believes very much in the healing touch of Massage. She enjoys meeting new people, trying simple healthy recipes and meditating.
